༄༅། །ཡོན་ཏན་གཞིར་གྱུར་མ།
공덕의 근원(功德之本頌)
FOUNDATION OF ALL GOOD QUALITIES
།ཡོན་ཏན་ཀུན་གྱི་གཞིར་གྱུར་དྲིན་ཅན་རྗེ།	모든 공덕의 바탕인 은혜로운 스승을,
།ཚུལ་བཞིན་བསྟེན་པ་ལམ་གྱི་རྩ་བ་རུ།	이치에 맞게 의지함은,
།ལེགས་པར་མཐོང་ས་འབད་པ་དུ་མ་ཡིས།	도의 뿌리임을 바르게 알고서,
།གུས་པ་ཆེན་པོས་བསྟེན་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	많은 정진과 큰 공경으로 의지하게 가피하소서.
The kind and venerable spiritual master is the foundation of all good qualities.  Seeing that dependence on him or her is the root of the path, may I rely on him or her with great respect and continuous effort -- inspire me thus!
།ལན་གཅིག་རྙེད་པའི་དལ་བའི་རྟེན་བཟང་འདི།	한번 얻은 유가의 이 좋은 몸,
།ཤིན་ཏུ་རྙེད་དཀའ་དོན་ཆེན་ཤེས་གྱུར་ནས།	매우 얻기 힘들다는 큰 뜻을 알고서,
།ཉིན་མཚན་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྙིང་པོ་ལེན་པའི་བློ།	밤낮으로 핵심 구하는 마음,
།རྒྱུན་ཆད་མེད་པར་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	끊임없이 일어나게 가피하소서.
A human life with leisure is obtained this once.  Understanding that it has great value and is hard to find, may I produce unceasingly the mind that takes hold of its essence day and night -- inspire me thus!
།ལུས་སྲོག་གཡོ་བ་ཆུ་ཡི་ཆུ་བུར་བཞིན།	몸과 목숨은 흔들리는 물거품 같이,
།མྱུར་དུ་འཇིག་པའི་འཆི་བ་དྲན་པ་དང༌།	금방 소멸되기에,
།ཤི་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ལུས་དང་གྲིབ་མ་བཞིན།	죽음을 기억하고 죽은 뒤 몸과 그림자처럼,
།དཀར་ནག་ལས་འབྲས་ཕྱི་བཞིན་འབྲང་བ་ལ།	흑백 인과(因果) 뒤 따르는 것 확고히 알아,
The fluctuation of our body and life is like a bubble of water; remember death, for we perish so quickly.  After death, the effects of black and white karma pursue us as a shadow follows a body.
།ངེས་པ་བརྟན་པོ་རྙེད་ནས་ཉེས་པའི་ཚོགས།	불선들,
།ཕྲ་ཞིང་ཕྲ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྤོང་བ་དང༌།	작고 작은 것들도 소멸시키고,
།དགེ་ཚོགས་མཐའ་དག་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱེད་པ་ལ།	선들 모두 행하기 위해,
།རྟག་ཏུ་བག་དང་ལྡན་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	항상 근면 갖추게 가피하소서.
Finding certainty in this, may I always be careful to abandon even the slightest negative action and to complete the accumulation of virtue -- inspire me thus!
།སྤྱད་པས་མི་ངོམས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཀུན་གྱི་སྒོ།	채워도 만족되지 않으며 모든 고통의 문이자,
།ཡིད་བརྟན་མི་རུང་སྲིད་པའི་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི།	믿고 맡길 수 없는 윤회의,
།ཉེས་དམིགས་རིག་ནས་ཐར་པའི་བདེ་བ་ལ།	허물 알고서 해탈의 행복 추구함이,
།དོན་གཉེར་ཆེན་པོ་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	크게 일어나게 가피하소서.
There is no satisfaction in enjoying worldly pleasures.  They are the door to all misery.  Having realized that the fault of samsaric perfections is that they cannot be trusted, may I be strongly intent on the bliss of liberation -- inspire me thus!
།རྣམ་དག་བསམ་པ་དེ་ཡིས་དྲངས་པ་ཡི།	해탈을 구하는 청정한 마음이 이끄는,
།དྲན་དང་ཤེས་བཞིན་བག་ཡོད་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིས།	매우 신중한 기억과 알아차림으로,
།བསྟན་པའི་རྩ་བ་སོ་སོར་ཐར་པ་ལ།	불법의 뿌리 별해탈계를,
།སྒྲུབ་པ་སྙིང་པོར་བྱེད་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	수행의 핵심으로 삼게 가피하소서
That pure thought to attain liberation produces great conscientiousness, mindfulness and awareness, may I make the essential practice, keeping the vows of individual liberation, the root of the doctrine -- inspire me thus!
།རང་ཉིད་སྲིད་མཚོར་ལྷུང་བ་ཇི་བཞིན་དུ།	나 자신 윤회 바다에 떨어진 것처럼,
།མར་གྱུར་འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན་ཀྱང་དེ་འདྲ་བར།	어머니였던 모든 중생도 같음을 알아,
།མཐོང་ནས་འགྲོ་བ་སྒྲོལ་བའི་ཁུར་འཁྱེར་བའི།	중생 제도의 짐 지는,
།བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་མཆོག་འབྱོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	최상 보리심 익어지게 가피하소서.
Having seen that all beings, my kind mothers, have fallen like myself into the ocean of cyclic existence, may I train in the supreme heart dedicated to enlightenment, assuming the obligation to free all migrating beings -- inspire me thus!
།སེམས་ཙམ་བསྐྱེད་ཀྱང་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྣམ་གསུམ་ལ།	보리심 일으켰어도 삼종계(三種戒)에,
།གོམས་པ་མེད་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་མི་འགྲུབ་པར།	익숙치 않으면 보리 성취 못함을,
།ལེགས་པར་མཐོང་ནས་རྒྱལ་སྲས་སྡོམ་པ་ལ།	바르게 알고서 보살계를,
།བརྩོན་པ་དྲག་པོས་སློབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	힘찬 정진으로 실천하게 가피하소서.
Generating the altruistic intention alone, without cultivation of the three moral practices, does not lead to enlightenment.  Having realized this, may I practice with intense effort the vows of the conquerors and their spiritual children -- inspire me thus!
།ལོག་པའི་ཡུལ་ལ་གཡེང་བ་ཞི་བྱེད་ཅིང༌།	뒤집힌 현상에 대한 산란함 멸하고,
།ཡང་དག་དོན་ལ་ཚུལ་བཞིན་དཔྱོད་པ་ཡི།	바른 뜻 이치에 맞게 살펴,
།ཞི་གནས་ལྷག་མཐོང་ཟུང་དུ་འབྲེལ་བའི་ལམ།	사마타(止)와 위빠사나(觀) 함께 하는 도(道),
།མྱུར་དུ་རྒྱུད་ལ་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	속히 마음속에 일어나게 가피하소서.
By quieting distraction to false objects, and analyzing the meaning of reality, may I quickly generate within my mindstream the path uniting calm abiding and special insight -- inspire me thus!
།ཐུན་མོང་ལམ་སྦྱངས་སྣོད་དུ་གྱུར་པ་ན།	공통도 닦아 근기가 되었다면,
།ཐེག་པ་ཀུན་གྱི་མཆོག་གྱུར་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཐེག	모든 승의 최상인 금강승,
།སྐལ་བཟང་སྐྱེ་བོའི་འཇུག་ངོགས་དམ་པ་དེར།	선연(善緣) 갖춘 이가 들어가는 청정한 관문에,
།བདེ་བླག་ཉིད་དུ་འཇུག་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	어려움 없이 속히 들어가게 가피하소서.
When, trained in the common path, I am a suitable vessel, let me enter with ease the great gateway of the fortunate ones, the Vajrayana, the highest of all vehicles -- inspire me thus!
།དེ་ཚེ་དངོས་གྲུབ་རྣམ་གཉིས་གྲུབ་པའི་གཞི།	그 때 두 가지 성취 이루는 바탕인,
།རྣམ་དག་དམ་ཚིག་སྡོམ་པར་བསྲུང་བ་ལ།	청정한 서언, 계 지키는 것에,
།བཅོས་མ་མིན་པའི་ངེས་པ་རྙེད་གྱུར་ནས།	꾸밈없는 확신 얻고서,
།སྲོག་དང་བསྡོས་ཏེ་བསྲུང་བར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	목숨 다해 지키게 가피하소서.
The basis of achieving the two powerful attainments is the pure vows and commitments that I have pledged.  Having found true understanding of this, may I keep them even at the cost of my life -- inspire me thus!
།དེ་ནས་རྒྱུད་སྡེའི་སྣིང་པོ་རིམ་གཉིས་ཀྱི།	그 뒤 밀법의 두 가지,
།གནད་རྣམས་ཇི་བཞིན་རྟོགས་ནས་བརྩོན་པ་ཡི།	요체들 제대로 알고서,
།ཐུན་བཞིའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་མཆོག་ལས་མི་གཡེལ་བར།	하루 네 번 바른 수행에 방일치 않고 정진하여,
།དམ་པའི་གསུང་བཞིན་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱི་རློབས།	바른 분의 말씀처럼 행하게 가피하소서.
Having realized the significance of the two stages, which are the essence of the tantric path, may I steadfastly practice without laziness the four sessions of yoga, and realize what the holy beings have taught -- inspire me thus!
།དེ་ལྟར་ལམ་བཟང་སྟོན་པའི་བཤེས་གཉེན་དང༌།	이러한 참된 길 보여주신 선지식과,
།ཚུལ་བཞིན་སྒྲུབ་པའི་གྲོགས་རྣམས་ཞབས་བརྟན་ཅིང༌།	이치대로 행하는 벗들 오래 머물고,
།ཕྱི་དང་ནང་གི་བར་དུ་གཅོད་པའི་ཚོགས།	안과 밖 장애의 더미,
།ཉེ་བར་ཞི་བར་བྱིན་གྱི་བརླབས་ཏུ་གསོལ།	완전히 소멸하게 가피하소서.
May the spiritual teachers who lead me on the sacred path and all spiritual friends who practice it have long life.  May I quickly and completely pacify all outer and inner hindrances -- grant such inspiration, I pray!
།སྐྱེ་བ་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཡང་དག་བླ་མ་དང༌།	태어나는 모든 생마다 바른 스승과 헤어지지 않고,
།འབྲལ་མེད་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དཔལ་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཅིང༌།	수승한 불법 실천하여,
།ས་དང་ལམ་གྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་རབ་རྫོགས་ནས།	십지와 오도의 공덕 다 이루어,
།རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གི་གོ་འཕང་མྱུར་ཐོབ་ཤོག །།	금강지불의 경지 속히 얻게 하소서.
In all my rebirths may I never be separated from perfect spiritual masters, and enjoy the magnificent Dharma.  Completing all qualities of the stages and paths, may I quickly achieve the stage of Vajradhara.
